1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the ALDI team. As a key member of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow safety guidelines.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately within company policies.
• Follow ergonomic procedures and operate equipment safely.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
