Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Operations Assistant to join Truck and Trailer Specialties, Inc., a family-owned company with a successful history of serving the public works industry. As the Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting daily Howell Shop functions and ensuring efficient communication with customers and vendors. Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with customers and vendors in person, by phone, and via email.
- Open and track service work orders.
- Audit employee time clock activity.
- Assist customers with part pick-ups and direct them to the parts department.
- Work closely with shop manager and team leads to schedule deliveries.
- Prepare outgoing and incoming packages.
- Invoice customers daily and accept payments.
- Confirm and track purchase orders.
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Perform filing tasks and maintain tidy office areas.
- Provide operational support to shop manager and others.
- Place purchase orders and order and maintain office supplies.
