Job Description
We are looking for a Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join Bank Iowa Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for generating quality Ag and Commercial loans, representing the bank in the community, and leading a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants in Newton. As a specialist in Ag and Commercial loans, you will build strong relationships with clients, actively participate in community activities, and contribute to the bank's growth and presence in Southeast Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Lead the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio.
- Participate in civic and community activities to establish the bank as a center of influence.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering business growth and retention.
- Approve loans within specified limits and refer applications outside those limits to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of lending and banking experience as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer.
- Strong Agriculture background preferred.
- Extensive supervisory and management experience.
- Ideal candidates will have leadership, credit analysis, underwriting, and sales experience.
